A few weeks back, Epic Helps gathered some volunteers and headed out to Camp Chamisall to re-roof some of the older buildings located on the camps property. In total, the team re-roofed 6 outbuildings at the camp, with the roofs being a mix of bolt down metal roofs and shingle.
Epic Helps is the community arm of the Epic Group of companies who's mandate as a group involves giving away not just from our surplus but as part of our social responsibility as a business.
Camp Chamisall was created back in 1961, and has been a place for all youth, from grade 2 to grade 12, to come to every summer. The camp offers 7 weeks of camp for Elementary, Junior High and Senior High students, run by volunteer staff.
We are humbled and grateful to have been able to help restore some of the older buildings on the camp, and contribute in any way possible to the joy that Camp Chamisall brings to the many children that visit every year.
