Epic Helps 2026 Roof Giveaway: Know Someone Who Could Use a New Roof?

A complete new roof, supplied and installed at no cost. That is a pretty big giveaway, and this year, three homeowners from Calgary, Red Deer and Claresholm-area homeowners are going to get exactly that.

Through Epic Helps, Epic Roofing & Exteriors is bringing back the Roof Giveaway for 2026. Nominations open August 27 and run through September 27, and you can nominate someone you know or put your own name forward.

So take a look around. Maybe your neighbour has an aging roof that is ready for replacement. Maybe your parents have been talking about theirs for a while. Maybe you have been looking at your own shingles and wondering how many more Alberta winters they have left. If a homeowner comes to mind, we want to hear their story.

Three Homeowners Are Getting a Complete New Roof

We are talking about a full residential roof replacement, not a repair voucher or a discount toward future work.

Epic Roofing & Exteriors will supply and install the new roofing system using Owens Corning shingles. The exact roofing components will depend on the home, but the selected homeowners will see an old roof come off and a brand-new one take its place.

Anyone who has priced out a roof replacement lately already knows just how big a giveaway this is. A new roof is one of the largest projects most homeowners will take on, which makes having the whole thing taken care of a pretty exciting prospect.

Who Can You Nominate?

You can nominate a neighbour, friend, relative, coworker, or yourself. The homeowner needs to be at least 18 years old, own and live in the home as their primary residence, and fall within the eligible Calgary, Red Deer and Claresholm surrounding service area.

From there, tell us a little about the roof and the homeowner. Maybe there are bare patches where years of hail have knocked away granules. Maybe shingles start lifting every time Calgary gets one of those strong wind days. Perhaps the roof has simply made it through plenty of snow, summer sun, Chinook swings, and Alberta weather and is getting close to replacement time.

You don't need to write the perfect entry. We want to hear real stories from the people and communities around us, so tell it in your own words and help us understand why this particular roof should be considered.
